Finally, the wait is over as Xiaomi has officially announced the launch details of awaited Xiaomi Pad 5 tablet in India. After teasing the device for a few days, the brand has now confirmed that Xiaomi Pad 5 will launch in India on April 27. It’s a flagship tablet from Xiaomi that was launched in China in August last year.
Not just a flagship tablet, a flagship Xiaomi smartphone will also be unveiled at the same event. It’s the Xiaomi 12 Pro, which was launched in China in December. Finally, two of Xiaomi’s anticipated products are coming to India next week.

Xiaomi Pad 5 specifications
Since the tablet has already been launched in many regions, the specifications and design are not a mystery. The Xiaomi Pad 5 has an 11-inch IPS LCD screen with 1600 x 2560 pixels (WQXGA) resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The panel has a 16:10 aspect ratio and comes with support for Dolby Vision, HDR10, and TrueTone True colour display.
Xiaomi Pad 5 is driven by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 processor that has Adreno 640 GPU. The tablet could come in India in two memory configurations: 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 6GB RAM + 256GB storage. It doesn’t offer a microSD card slot. The device packs an 8,720mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.
In terms of optics, the Xiaomi tablet features a 13MP shooter on the back and an 8MP snapper for selfies and video calls. It comes with connectivity features like 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The tablet measures 254.7 x 166.3 x 6.9 mm and weighs about 511g.
