Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 Benchmarked with Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC and 12GB RAM

Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 rear design leak ahead of the launch

Xiaomi MI MIX 4 launch date has been set for August 10. While we are less than a week away from the launch, leaks and certification are popping up on the internet revealing more about the phone. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 reportedly carries model number 2106118C which has now been listed on Geekbench with several key specifications, spotted by Nashville Chatter.

As per the Geekbench listing, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core processor with one of the cores running at 3.0GHz. It confirms that the phone is fueled by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC. Previously, it was rumored that IQOO 8 would be the first phone to launch with this new chipset. The smartphone is launching on August 17. Since Mi MIX 4 is launching ahead of IQOO 8, it will be the first to come with Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 spotted on Geekbench

The 12GB RAM variant of the Mi MIX 4 was tested on benchmarking platform Geekbench. It managed to pull off 863 points in the single-core test and 3,181 points in the multi-core test. On the software front, the device boots Android 11 OS.

Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 is said to have an under-display selfie camera which will be hidden under the flexible panel. It is rumored to feature a triple rear camera which may include a 50MP Samsung GN1 primary sensor, a 48MP telephoto shooter, and a 48MP ultrawide lens. The phone may pack a 4,500mAh battery and support 120W fast charging (as per 3C certification).

Earlier today, several renders of the Mi MIX 4 surfaced on the internet revealing a large cutout at the back housing three sensors. The phone has a glass back with MIX branding at the bottom. A recent poster shared by Xiaomi confirmed that the phone supports UWB for accurately locating other smart home devices.
