A mysterious Xiaomi phone carrying model number 2112123AC has been certified by the 3C certification authority of China. It does not reveal the marketing name. However, the rumour mill suggests that it could be a part of the Xiaomi 12 flagship series, which is expected to debut next month. According to the 3C listing, the Xiaomi 2112123AC supports 67W fast charging. It will be a 5G phone from the Chinese brand. The device recently passed through CMIIT certification, along with its variant that carries the model number 2201123C, hinting that the devices are getting ready for the launch.
The certification sites fail to reveal any details about the phones. However, according to a reliable Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, the Xiaomi 2112123AC will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset. The device is said to be code-named “psyche.” The tipster also claims that it will offer a high refresh rate and a high megapixel camera.

In related news, Xiaomi will reportedly start mass-producing the vanilla Xiaomi 12 this month, and later, the high-end models will undergo mass production. According to recent reports, the Xiaomi 12 could be one of the very first phones to feature the unannounced Snapdragon 898 powerful chipset. The vanilla Xiaomi 12 is expected to launch by the end of this year, while the Pro/Ultra models are said to be released early next year.
