The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi held its well-awaited event yesterday and has finally unveiled three new flagship smartphones—Xiaomi 12, 12 Pro, and 12X, and a new Smartwatch and truly wireless earbuds.
Xiaomi’s latest devices feature faster-charging speeds, a better camera setup on the back, improved displays, and much more.
Xiaomi 12 Pro Specifications
Xiaomi 12 Pro features the largest AMOLED display out of the three at 6.73-inch and supports resolution up to 2K along with a refresh rate as high as 120Hz. The display also houses a punch-hole cutout at the centre.
The smartphone also comes with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage, all powered by a massive 5000mAh battery that supports 120W of fast-changing.
As for its camera, the device has a triple camera setup on the rear, which includes a 50MP primary, a 50MP ultra-wide, and a 50MP telephoto sensor, while there’s a 32MP camera on the front.
Xiaomi 12 specifications
Xiaomi 12 features a slightly smaller 6.28-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and will be paired with a maximum of 12GB RAM+ 256GB storage.
Meanwhile, the handset comes with triple cameras on its back, including a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary, a 13MP ultra-wide, and a 5MP telephoto sensor paired with a 32MP front-facing camera.
Xiaomi 12X Specifications
The Xiaomi 12X features a 6.28-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Meanwhile, It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC combined with a maximum of 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
Additionally, the device packs a 4,500mAh battery with support for charging speeds up to 67W. The rectangular rear camera module houses only one 50MP primary sensor while there’s a 32MP selfie camera on the device’s front.
Pricing & Availability
As for the pricing and availability, all the devices will be available internationally except the 12X, which will be sold exclusively in China, and the price will be as follows:
The vanilla Xiaomi 12 with 8GB of RAM+128GB storage starts at CNY 3,699, approximately Rs 43,700. Further, the 8GB+256GB variant is priced at around Rs 47,200. Last but not least, the 12GB+256GB storage variant is priced at around Rs 52,000.
On the other hand, the Xiaomi 12 Pro with 8GB+128GB configuration starts at approximately Rs 55,000. There is also an 8GB+256GB model priced at around Rs 58,500. Meanwhile, the 12GB+256GB model costs around Rs 63,000.
Lastly, the Xiaomi 12X, available only in China, starts at around Rs 37,500 for the 8GB+128GB variant. Next, the 8GB+256GB internal storage variant costs Rs 41,000. Lastly, a 12GB+256GB variant is priced at approximately Rs 44,500.
