After first launching the Xiaomi 12 Pro and Xiaomi Pad 5 in its home country, Xiaomi has finally launched both the products in the Indian market alongside Xiaomi’s new 5A series of TVs at its “Next” summer launch event.
That said here’s a closer look at all three products and their respective specifications and their pricing.
Xiaomi 12 Pro Specifications
The Xiaomi 12 Pro features a 6.73-inch AMOLED display that supports resolutions up to 2K along with a refresh rate as high as 120Hz. The display also houses a punch-hole cutout in the centre.
As for its internals, the Xiaomi 12 Pro comes with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage, all powered by a massive 5000mAh battery that supports 120W of fast-changing.
An as far as the cameras are concerned, the device has a triple camera setup on the rear, which includes a 50MP primary, a 50MP ultra-wide, and a 50MP telephoto sensor, along with a 32MP selfie camera on the front.
Last but not the least, Xiaomi’s flagship will be available in three colours to choose from including Blue, Black, and Purple.
Xiaomi Pad 5 Specifications
Coming to the Xiaomi Pad 5, Xiaomi’s new tablet features a 16:10 Dolby Vision and HDR10 certified 11-inch IPS LCD screen that offers 1600x2560pixels (WQXGA) of resolution while running at a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz.
As for its internals, the Xiaomi Pad 5 packs an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 processor that offers an Adreno 640 GPU accompanied by 6GB RAM and 128 or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Meanwhile, the device packs an 8,720mAh battery that supports up to 33W fast charging.
In terms of its camera, the Xiaomi Pad 5 features a 13MP primary camera on the back and an 8MP selfie camera on the front of the device.
Last but not the least the tablet ships with Xiaomi Smart Pen, a Dolby Atmos certified quad-speaker setup, and dual-array microphones paired with the usual Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Xiaomi Smart TV 5A Specifications
Xiaomi Smart TV 5A series which comes in three models including one with a 43-inch, a 40-inch and a 32-inch screen, offers 1080p Full HD display panels with a bezel-less design on three sides along with the Xiaomi logo situated at the bottom.
Display specifications aside, the smart TV is powered by a quad-core ARM Cortex A55 processor that promises fast-paced performance paired with its 1.5GB RAM + 8GB storage and Android TV 11 operating system. Meanwhile, the TV also supports DTXs and Dolby Audio for an enhanced audio experience using its 25W speakers.
As far as connectivity options go, all the TVs come with 5GHz Wi-Fi MIMO and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity paired with a multitude of ports including two HDMI 2.0, two USB, Ethernet, AV, Optical and 3.5mm ports.
Moreover, the new TV also offers a dedicated kids mode, around 300+ live channels, IMDB integration, universal search and so on and ships with special xiaomi remote.
Pricing & Availability
Xiaomi 12 Pro
Starting with the Xiaomi 12 Pro, Xiaomi’s flagship smartphone will be up for purchase on 2 May at 12PM with the 8GB + 256GB model priced at Rs 62,999 and the 12GB + 256GB model priced at Rs 66,999. Additionally, Xiaomi is also offering a Rs 6,000 discount on ICICI Bank credit cards and EMI, along with Rs 4,000 off as an introductory offer.
Xiaomi Pad 5
The Xiaomi Pad 5, which will be up for sale alongside the smartphone will be available in two configurations with the 6GB + 128GB variant priced at Rs 26,999 and the 6GB + 256GB variant priced at Rs 28,999. However, there is an introductory price though, which brings down the price of the base variant to 24,999 and 26,999 for the 6GB/256GB variant. Additionally, HDFC bank is also offering a discount of 2000 on transactions made via its cards or EMI option which will only be valid until May 7.
Xiaomi TV 5A
Xiaomi’s new TV series, which will be offered in three sizes including, 43-inch, 40-inch and 32-inch will be priced at Rs 25,999, Rs 22,999 and Rs 15,499 respectively will go on sale starting from 30th April. Additionally you can avail Rs 2,000 of additional discount using your HDFC bank credit card.
