Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G Passes Through FCC, Storage Variants Revealed

According to recent reports, Xiaomi might bring at least more devices in the Xiaomi 12 series which could be Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G and Xiaomi 12 Ultra. Thanks to past leaks and reports we already know quite a few details about the device. Now, we have more details about the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G coming from the FCC certification site. Getting certifications also hints that the device could be gearing up for launch.

Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G has been spotted on the FCC certification site with a 2203129G model number. Here, “G” in the model number points to the global variant. The FCC listing reveals that the Xiaomi phone will boot MIUI 13 out of the box, which is likely to be based on Android 12. Further, it reveals that the device could be offered in three memory configurations – 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage.

The FCC listing for Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G also reveals the support for 7 5G bands. The device supports connectivity features such as Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth, and dual-SIM support.

The smartphone was recently spotted on Geekbench with Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset. Rumours are that it will feature a 6.55-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The device is said to come with a 64MP Samsung ISOCELL GW3 primary sensor, which could be paired with an ultrawide lens, and a macro lens.

Xiaomi has not yet announced the arrival of Xiaomi 12 Lite. However, the device has already passed through multiple certifications, suggesting that we might hear an official announcement soon.
