Xiaomi is reportedly in the works to launch “T” variant phones in the Mi 11 flagship series. These were rumored to be called Mi 11T and Mi 11T Pro until today. According to a report from XDA Developers, Xiaomi will no longer use “Mi” branding on any of its products. Surely, this is a big change from the brand. Xiaomi has already started the new naming scheme, which was first seen in “Xiaomi MIX 4”, no “Mi” branding here. It now means that the “T” variants in Mi 11 series would be called Xiaomi 11T and Xiaomi 11T Pro.
Tipster Ishan Agarwal spotted these phones on a European retailer website which confirms the “Mi” branding removal and reveals some key details of the Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro. As per the listing, both the devices will come in three color options – Celestial Blue, Moonlight White, and Meteorite Grey. It also reveals memory configurations of the two phones – 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage.
The Xiaomi 11T is listed with a £633.96 (roughly Rs 55,200) price tag for the 128GB model and the 256GB model is listed for £660.95 (roughly Rs 57,500). On the other hand, Xiaomi 11T Pro may cost £758.69 (roughly Rs 66,000) for the 128GB storage variant and the higher 256GB storage model is priced at £785.42 (roughly Rs 68,400. We are not sure, if the pricing is 100% correct, so take it with a pinch of salt.
Xiaomi has not yet confirmed the launch date or availability of the Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro. Yesterday, the brand announced that it will hold a product launch event on September 15. Last year, the Mi 10T was also announced around September month. So, it is most likely that the company may follow the same for Xiaomi 11T. Read Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro leaked specifications here.
