It’s been a while since Xiaomi launched Mi 11 Lite in India. Today, the company gave the phone a mid-life update by coming up with a new variant of the phone called Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G. Without making things too complex, let us, at the outset, tell you that the Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G just so happens to be the 5G variant of Mi 11 Lite.

Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G Price in India
In India, the Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G comes in two variants. The base variant 6GB+128GB is priced at Rs 26,999. And the highest 8+128GB variant is priced at Rs 28,999. The phone will be sold via Amazon, Mi.com, and offline stores. The sale will start from 2nd October. The phone will be available in 4 colors. With an initial offer, the device will be available at Rs 23,499 for the 6GB variant and Rs 25,499 for the 8GB variant.
Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G Specifications
The Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G features a 6.62-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel that supports 90Hz refresh rate and happens to be HDR 10+ and 10bit color compatible. It also supports Dolby vision. And lest we forget, the display also gets Corning Gorilla Glass 5. To enhance the media consumption experience it also features a stereo speaker. But the phone does not have a headphone jack.
Under the hood, the phone gets the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778 SoC paired with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS storage. It is an octa-core SoC based on a 6nm manufacturing process. The same chipset also powers phones like Moto Edge 20, Realme GT Master Edition, etc.
The primary camera on the rear will be a 64MP followed by an 8MP ultrawide and 5MP macro lens. At the front, the phone offers a 20MP selfie camera in a punch-hole cutout for selfies and video calls.
For security, it has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. In terms of software, The phone runs on MIUI 12.5, which is based on Android 11. The phone will receive three major OS updates and four security updates.
The phone draws its power from a 4250mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. The phone weighs only 158g with 6.81mm thickness.
