Xbox Cloud Gaming Now Available on iOS and PC – Microsoft announced today that the Xbox Cloud Gaming service will be available via the web for Apple devices as well as desktop computers. Subscribers to the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription can now use the service in 22 countries.

Currently, the number of countries that are supported are Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Korea, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and the United States.

To use the service, go to xbox.com/play on your iPhone, iPad, PC, or Mac using the Microsoft Edge, Chrome, or Safari browser. If you already have a Game Pass Ultimate subscription and live in one of the 22 approved countries, you can begin playing from a library of over 100 titles right away.

Microsoft also revealed that its Xbox Cloud Gaming servers are now powered by a customized Xbox Series X. Previously, the service was only available on Xbox One S consoles in Microsoft’s datacenters. Microsoft now offers 1080p streaming at 60 frames per second as a result of the change. As a result, the company claims that game load times should be faster.
