WhatsApp users will be getting some of the most awaited features after a long wait. WABetaInfo broke the news around the world about WhatsApp introducing some features like disappearing mode, view once feature, and multi-device support. And no, these are not merely based on reports and leaks but Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg himself has confirmed rolling out these features on WhatsApp.

Mark Zuckerberg in his chat with WABetainfo revealed that WhatsApp was the first global messaging network to roll out end-to-end encryption but now, the Facebook-owned company will be introducing new disappearing message features globally that automatically enables ephemeral messages in new chat threads.
Other than these, the company will roll out a ‘View Once’ feature. Here, when the user enables this feature, they will be able to look at the text, pictures, or videos that will disappear after the person has seen it.

When asked Zuckerberg and Cathcart whether they intended to launch the multiple-device feature for WhatsApp. Cathcart confirmed the multi-device will be out for public beta within two months. This new feature will help users to open WhatsApp without an internet connection, and the WhatsApp accounts can be accessible on more than one device. The exact date is yet not announced, but the new updates may arrive by the end of this year.
