Vivo, the Chinese smartphone brand, unveiled a new smartphone, the Vivo Y73, for Indian users on Thursday, adding to an ever-expanding line of low-cost mid-range phones. It is available in a single RAM configuration for less than Rs 25,000 and is targeted at young buyers looking for a stylish phone. For the highlights, the phone is equipped with a triple rear camera setup and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek SoC.

The Vivo Y73 borrows heavily from the X60 series, which debuted earlier this year. It all starts with the design, which includes a rectangular camera hump as well as the overall design theme.

It is powered by the most recent FunTouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11.
As far as the camera is concerned, the rear cameras include a 64PM main camera sensor, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth camera. The phone has a 16MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The smartphone also packs a 4000mAh battery with 33W fast charging capabilities.
The connectivity options include 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth v5. A 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB-C port are also included. An accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, e-compass, and gyroscope are among the sensors onboard.
