Vivo Y53s recently debuted in Vietnam with 64MP triple rear cameras, Helio G80 SoC, and a 5,000mAh battery. Now, the brand is reportedly gearing up to launch the smartphone in the Indian market too. Some industry sources told Moneycontrol that Vivo Y53s will launch in India on August 9. Notably, the India variant of Y53s will come with some tweaked specifications as compared to the Vietnamese model.
Vivo Y53s specifications
The Vivo Y53s 4G will reportedly feature a 64-megapixel triple camera setup on the back. It will pack a 5,000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. However, the Vietnamese Vivo Y53s supports 33W fast charging. The phone will have an 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant.
As seen in most of the recently-launched Vivo phones, the Y53s too will support the Virtual RAM feature. The 8GB RAM variant can get a maximum of 3GB virtual RAM. For those who are unknown to this term, it basically uses some part of internal storage to work as a RAM. This helps reducing app loading time and allows the more processes to run in the background.
The Vivo Y53s is said to offered in two color options – Deep Sea Blue and Fantastic Rainbow. A recent leak suggested that the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant could launch in India with Rs 22,990 price tag.
The rest of specifications is expected to match the Vietnamese Y53s. It means that the phone may offer a 6.58-inch FullHD+ LCD display with a waterdrop notch for a 16MP selfie shooter. The rear camera may have two 2-megapixel secondary sensors in addition to the 64-megapixel primary sensor. Other notable specs that the phone may bring are – Bluetooth v5.1, dual-band Wi-Fi, USB Type-C port, Android 11 OS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
As of now, Vivo has not announced the India launch details for the Vivo Y53s. We can expect the company to start teasing the device once we get close to the launch.
