Vivo is confirmed to launch the V23 series on January 5 in India. It will be India’s first smartphone to feature colour changing rear panel. We knew that the V23 series is coming, but what we didn’t know was that the company is gearing up to launch a mid-range phone, ahead of the V23 series. According to reliable leakster Ishan Agarwal the mid-ranger Vivo Y21T will launch in India on January 3. Let’s also look at what the device will offer in terms of specifications.
According to a report from 91Mobiles, the Vivo Y21T will feature 50MP triple cameras on the rear side. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 680 chipset, paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The phone is most likely to have a microSD card slot for storage expansion. It is tipped to pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.
As of now, the design of the Vivo Y21T and other specifications are currently under the wrap. However, we expect the phone to feature a waterdrop notch display, an USB Type-C port, a rectangular camera block, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Vivo is yet to reveal anything about the Vivo Y21T. However, since we are quite close to the leaked launch date, the company should start teasing the device in the coming days.
A day after the Vivo Y21T launch, the Chinese brand will also unveil the V23 series in India. According to recent leaks, both the vanilla Vivo V23 and V23 Pro will bring 108MP triple cameras, an AMOLED screen, and 44W fast charging support. The vanilla model is said to pack Dimensity 1100 SoC, while the Pro model could be powered by the Dimensty 1200 SoC. Read more about the Vivo V23 series here.
