Vivo has silently launched the Vivo Y21s mid-range phone in the Indonesian market. It comes as an upgrade to the Vivo Y21 which was launched in India last month. The newly-launched Vivo Y21s is highlighted with specifications like 50MP triple rear cameras, 5000mAh battery, and Helio G80 chipset.
Vivo Y21s: Price, Availability
The Vivo Y21s price has been set at IDR 2,799,000 (roughly Rs 14,500) for the sole 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. It is already up for sale in the country in Pearl White and Midnight Blue colour options. The phone is likely to be announced in several other markets in including India, however, an official confirmation is awaited.

The phone is built around a 6.51-inch LCD display with 720×1,600 pixels resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it is powered by MediaTek Helio G80 chipset coupled with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. There’s also a microSD card slot for additional storage up to 1TB.
Vivo Y21s boasts a triple camera setup on the back that includes a 50MP primary camera, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. It features an 8MP selfie camera housed inside the teardrop notch. The phone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging through a USB Type-C port.
The device boots Android-11 OS flavored with Funtouch OS 11.1 skin. Connectivity features include – 4G, Bluetooth v5, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, OTG, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, as well as supports face unlocking. The phone measures 164x76x8 mm and weighs 182g.
