Vivo X70 Exynos and MediaTek SoCs Variants Spotted on TENAA With Full Specifications

TENAA certification suggests that the Vivo X70 may be offered in two chipsets - Exynos 1080 and Dimensity 1200.

Vivo X70 flagship series is all set to launch in China on September 9. The X70 lineup consists of three phones – Vivo X70, X70 Pro, and X70 Pro+. Yesterday, we spotted the Vivo X70 Pro on TENAA certification, and today the Vivo X70 has appeared too with full specifications. More interestingly, TENAA listings suggest that the device could come in two different chipsets – MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC and Exynos 1080 SoC.

The Vivo X70 has been spotted in TENAA with model numbers V2132A and V2133A. The two variants share pretty much the same specifications apart from different SoC and screen sizes.

Vivo X70 specifications

Vivo V2132A has a 2.8GHz octa-core processor which is most likely Samsung’s Exynos 1080 chipset, while the V2133A is powered by a 3.0GHz octa-core processor, which could be the MediaTek’s Dimensity 1200 SoC. The Exynos variant has a 6.56-inch AMOLED display with 2,376 x 1,080 pixels resolution. On the other hand, the MediaTek version has a slightly bigger 6.58-inch AMOLED display with 2,376×1,080 pixels resolution.

Both the variants are backed by a 4,320mAh rated capacity battery with a typical capacity of around 4,500mAh. The phone may come in 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB storage options. The camera configurations on both the variants are same – 40MP + 12MP + 12MP triple rear cameras and a 32MP front-facing camera.

Further, the TENAA listings reveal that both the variants support 5G connectivity and features an under-display fingerprint sensor. It was recently spotted on the 3C certification with 44W fast charging support. Both the variants boots Android 11 OS and are likely to be flavored with OriginOS skin for the Chinese market, while the rest of the world may get Funtouch OS.
