Vivo X70 Pro+ Renders Show ZEISS-branded Unique Camera Module, Curved Display, and More

Recently we saw leaked renders of Vivo X70 and X70 Pro shared by popular tipster @OnLeaks. The same tipster (via Pricebaba) has now come up with Vivo X70 Pro+, which is the top-end device in the X70 lineup. The unofficial renders give us a close look at the phone’s design, as well as some specs as shared by OnLeaks.

The overall design is pretty much similar to the Vivo X70, however, the rear camera module in X70 Pro+ makes it more interesting to look at. Starting from the front panel, it is curved on the sides and has a centered punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera, similar to the X70 Pro. However, the screen size is 6.7-inch, a little bigger than the other two.

The giant camera module on the back consists of 4 camera sensors with ZEISS branding and triple LED flash. It is said to include a periscope lens and a laser autofocus unit. Notably, the camera module extends to the right, covering nearly 1/3rd of the back panel. The tipster has not revealed anything about this. However, it could just be a design to make the phone look better or maybe it could also be a secondary display. We’ll be more clear on this, once we get more details.

Vivo X70 Pro Plus

Vivo X70 Pro+ is likely to offer an in-display fingerprint scanner. It measures 164.8×75.5×9 mm. The thickness goes up to 11.3mm when the camera bump is taken into the measurement. Today, Hu Baishan, Vivo executive vice president has confirmed that the X70 series will be equipped with the company’s self-developed Image Signal Processor (ISP) called “Vivo V1”. He also confirmed that the phone will launch in September.

Vivo X70 Pro+ with model number V2145A was recently spotted on Google Play Console. It revealed that the phone has a FullHD+ display, 8GB RAM, and Snapdragon 888 SoC. The phone was also seen on China’s 3C certification with 65W fast charging support.
