Earlier today, Vivo teased the arrival of new devices through a poster released on the company’s Weibo account. The launch poster does not reveal the device’s name. However, it confirms that the device will fall under the foldable category. The latest teaser posted by Vivo reveals that the brand will announce launch details about the upcoming foldable on March 28.
While the poster does not explicitly name the upcoming device(s), past reports suggest that the Chinese brand is teasing the arrival of Vivo X Note, Vivo Pad, and Vivo X Fold. Rumours are that these new Vivo devices could be released in the first half of next month. The upcoming Vivo X Note is speculated to be a flagship offering from the brand. The device accidentally appeared on Vivo’s China website along with the image and key specifications. It will come with a 7-inch Samsung E5 AMOLED screen with Quad HD+ resolution and a punch-hole camera at the centre. The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, paired with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. It will come with a 50MP Samsung S5KGN1 primary sensor on the back and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging.
Vivo X Fold specifications (rumoured)
Vivo X Fold will be the company’s first foldable phone from the brand. It is said to come with a 6.53 FullHD+ external OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Inside, it might feature an 8-inch Quad HD+ OLED panel. The device is rumoured to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. It could feature a quad-camera setup on the back consisting of a 50MP sensor, a 48MP sensor, a 12MP sensor, and an 8MP sensor.
Vivo Pad specifications (rumoured)
The upcoming Vivo Pad might offer an 11-inch display with 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution, and 120Hz refresh rate support. It could be powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset. The Vivo Pad is said to feature a 13MP + 8MP dual-camera setup on the back and an 8MP front-facing camera.
