Vivo has finally announced the India launch date for the awaited Vivo V23 series. It will launch in the country on November 5 at 12 PM local time. The launch poster shared on Twitter does not reveal the devices name. However, the Flipkart page confirms that the company will bring two devices under the V23 series – Vivo V23 5G and V23 Pro 5G.
Vivo V23 5G and V23 Pro 5G will be India’s first phones to feature colour changing glass on the rear side. It means that the rear panel colour will change upon interaction with sunlight. Flipkart page confirms that the colour changing technology is only available in the Sunshine Gold colour option of the Vivo V23 5G and V23 Pro 5G.
Both, Vivo V23 5G and Vivo V23 Pro 5G will feature triple cameras on the rear side. The phones have a wide notch to house dual selfie cameras. The triple camera setup in the vanilla Vivo V23 5G is led by a 64MP primary sensor. While the Vivo V23 Pro 5G has a 108MP primary shooter.
The Vivo V23 5G and V23 Pro 5G have a curved panel with support for an in-display fingerprint sensor. The power buttons and volume rockers are on the right side. As far as the design is concerned, the Vivo V23 and V23 Pro look identical to Vivo S12 and S12 Pro, which were recently launched in China. So, it is most likely that the V23 series is a rebranded version of S12 series for the Indian market.
