Vivo V23 lineup will be a successor to the V21 lineup, released earlier this year. The Chinese smartphone maker has already launched its first member – Vivo V23e – last month in Thailand. The company is reportedly gearing up to launch Vivo V23 Pro as soon as next month, as per a report by 91Mobiles. The Vivo V23 Pro has been spotted on Geekbench, revealing several vital specifications ahead of an official announcement.
The upcoming Vivo V23 Pro has been spotted on the benchmarking site with the model number V2123. The model number was previously spotted on the IMEI Database listing with the Vivo V23 Pro moniker. According to the Geekbench listing, the Vivo phone will boot Android 12 out of the box. MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC, an octa-core processor, code-named MT6893Z/CZA, will power this device.
The device was tested on the benchmarking platform with 8GB RAM. Though, we can expect it to come in more RAM options. In the Geekbench v5 test, the Vivo V23 Pro managed to pull off 679 points and 2,707 points in the single-core and multi-core tests.
Vivo is yet to break its silence on the arrival of the Vivo V23 Pro. However, a 91Mobiles report claims that it will launch in India in the first week of January 2022. The device features a 64MP primary camera on the rear side. It was previously reported that the company could unveil Vivo V23 Pro after launching the vanilla V23. But now, the report claims that Vivo V23 Pro will be released first, and then the vanilla model. Since we are not too far away from the reported launch timeline, we can expect an official confirmation in the coming days.
