Vivo has officially announced the brand new Vivo S10 series smartphones in the Chinese market – the vanilla Vivo S10 and the Vivo S10 Pro. As the name suggests, the Vivo S10 series comes as a successor to the Vivo S9 lineup that was launched earlier this year.
In terms of specs, both the Vivo S10 and S10 Pro duo are pretty similar, except for their camera department. Let us have a look at the Vivo S10 and the Vivo S10 Pro prices, specifications, and availability details.
Vivo S10, Vivo S10 Pro Pricing, Availability
The vanilla Vivo S10 is priced at 2799 yuan (US$ 433 / INR 32,285. approx.) and 2999 yuan (US$ 464 / INR 34,590 approx.) respectively for it’s 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB variants. The S10 Pro is priced at 3999 yuan (US$ 618 / INR 46,125 approx.) for 12GB + 256GB version. The S10 and S10 Pro come in white, black, lime and gradient color options. Both the device will go on sale in China starting from July 23rd.
Specifications and Features
The Vivo S10 and the S10 Pro come in the same design featuring a 6.44” AMOLED display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, as well as an in-display fingerprint scanner. These are just 7.29 mm thick and feature an aviation aluminum frame and weigh 173 grams.
Under the hood, both models are powered by an Octa Core MediaTek Dimensity 1100 6nm processor. In storage department, the vanilla Vivo S10 available in 8GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB / 256GB (UFS 3.1) storage and the S10 Pro packs 12GB LPDDR4x RAM with 256GB (UFS 3.1) storage.
Speaking of imaging, both the phones has a triple-camera setup at the rear: the S10 has a 64MP main, 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro camera, and the S10 Pro replaces the main camera with a 108MP camera while retaining the other two. Both these phones feature an upper notch that houses a pair of 44 megapixels shooter as well as an 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens. The top bezel also houses dual-LED flashes that can brighten even the dimmest of shots.
Connectivity options include support for two SIM cards, 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. Vivo has used photochromic process for the back of the phone so that the colour of the back transforms when the sunlight hits in different angles.
To keep it’s lights on, the duo are equipped with 4050mAh (typical) battery with 44W fast charging. Both phones boot OriginOS 1.0 based on Android 11.
