Vivo Pad With Snapdragon 870 SoC Spotted on Geekbench Ahead of the Launch

The first tablet from Vivo will be powered by a Snapdragon chip.

Vivo Pad, the company’s first tablet, is set to launch on April 11 in China. On the same day, the company will also unveil Vivo X Note and its first foldable phone – Vivo X Fold. So, next week is going to be pretty exciting for Vivo fans. While we wait for the event, let’s look at some key specifications of the Vivo Pad which have been revealed via the Geekbench listing.

Vivo Pad has been spotted on the benchmarking site with PA2170 model number. According to the listing, the device will boot Android 11 out of the box. It will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm processor with four cores clocked at 1.80GHz, three cores clocked at 2.42GHz, and one core with a clock speed of 3.19GHz. These details suggest that Snapdragon 870 will power the Vivo Pad.

The Vivo Pad is listed with 8GB RAM, which produced a result of 1027 points and 3382 points in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. That’s all that we could fetch from the Geekbench listing. But thanks to past leaks, which suggest that the Vivo Pad will sport an 11-inch display with a 2.5k resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

The first Vivo tablet is said to house an 8,040mAh battery. It was recently spotted on the 3C certification site with 44W fast charging support. The device is said to feature a 13MP + 2MP dual-camera setup on the back and an 8MP selfie shooter.
