Vaio unveiled two new laptops in India today. The company’s newly released Vaio SE14 and Vaio SX14 laptops will soon be available in India via Amazon India.
After Sony had withdrawn Vaio branded laptops from the market, Nextgo, a Hong Kong-based company, who also owns Avita Liber, has brought the Vaio brand back to India by licensing its brand name.
Vaio SE14, SX14 Specifications
To start off, the Vaoi SE14 comes with a brand new model focusing on new SuperFin technology, new core and graphics, and new platform integration. The laptop will come with a 14-inch 1080p display that will be powered by 11th Gen Intel processors.
With the minimalist design and Metal+plastic chassis, the SE14 is expected to win the hearts of tech buffs. The laptop packs a 12-hour battery life, Intel Xe graphics, Thunderbolt 4 lightning gaming support, a 1080P IR Front Web Camera, and a metal and plastic construction.
The Vaio SX14 is a premium ultrabook including a fingerprint sensor and Windows Hello face recognition. This laptop has a 14-inch 4K Ultra HD display and a Dolby speaker system. It’s worth noting that the SX14 doesn’t support touch input, which is actually shocking given the big price tag.
Furthermore, the Vaio SX14 is expected to deliver good performance thanks to its Intel Core-i7 processor and a storage capacity of up to 1 TB. The Vaio SX14 also offers “fine-tuned keycap tooling,” which the company says reduces typing noise.
Vaio SE14, SX14 Pricing in India
The Vaio SE14 is priced at Rs 88,990 in India. Meanwhile, the Vaio SX14, which features a carbon LCD shell, starts at Rs 1,72,990 in India. The company hasn’t said how many versions each laptop will have, but they’ll almost certainly have a variety of storage and RAM choices.
