Realme had previously teased its upcoming cheapest 5G smartphone. The device will cost less than USD 100. Not only Realme’s but it might be the cheapest 5G smartphone you can get. Some reports tell that the upcoming 5G smartphone will be the Realme 8i 5G.
The device was previously spotted on TKDN, IMEI, and EEC certification websites. And now the same device has been spotted on Columbian Certification. First spotted by Passionategeekz, the Realme smartphone bears the model number RMX3151 and the certification itself confirms that the marketing name of the device i.e. Realme 8i. The device will succeed the Realme 7i, which currently costs between 12k INR to 15k INR in India. But the Realme 8i rumoured to be the cheapest 5G smartphone will cost below 100USD (around 7,5000 INR).

Apart from this, we don’t have much information to share about the device. The Realme is on the way to become a 5G leader. The CEO of Realme India, in a recent interview, they confirmed that all the upcoming Realme smartphone which will cost above 15k in India will come with the support of 5G network connectivity. The upcoming Realme 8i will ensure the users who can’t afford high-end phones experience the world of 5G.
