Twitter Sign In with Apple ID Option

Twitter to Allow Users Sign In with Apple ID – Twitter now allows iOS users to sign in/login via an Apple ID to access the social platform on iPhone & iPad. The latest version of Twitter now allows individuals to log in to their Twitter account using Apple sign-in feature. Previously, we reported, the Android version of Twitter beta allows individuals to log in to their Twitter account using Google sign-in feature. Now, folks can do the same via Apple ID.

Twitter’s Apple sign-in is long overdue, and it finally has made its way. Essentially, this allows you to log in or create an account using your existing credentials avoiding the need to fill in general information such as your name and email address, as well as the necessity for a password.

If you don’t already have a Twitter account, you can use the Apple sign-in option to create one. The handle will be provided at random, but you can change it later. Users can choose to hide their actual email addresses from Twitter. However, users will still be required to submit a date of birth and other information, signing up is as simple as confirming an account using Face ID.

Because Sign-in with Apple does not generate a password, changing an account’s email address, choosing a new profile name, or deactivating an account can be difficult. Sign-in with Apple support will be coming to the web soon.
