The Samsung Galaxy A52 Now Has The Camera Features of The Galaxy S21 Thanks to a Recent OTA Update

The Samsung Galaxy S21 series is the company’s new flagship, and it includes all of the best camera features that the brand has to offer. Some of the flagship camera features are seen on the Galaxy S21 have now begun to make their way to the mid-range Galaxy A52 with a recent software update. The latest update for the Samsung Galaxy A52 includes three new Portrait mode effects: high-key mono, low-key mono, and backdrop impact. The update changelog also notes that the update enhances the camera and overall performance of the handset, such as touchscreen stability. According to a new TizenHelp post, the update is now live in Indonesia, but its availability in other regions is unknown at this time. The latest Samsung Galaxy A52 camera update is approximately 415MB in size and comes with firmware version A525FXXU1AUD2. It also includes the protection patch for April 1st, 2021.

To recap, the Samsung Galaxy A52 has a 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a punch-hole display for the selfie snapper, and 800nits of brightness. It is fuelled by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC, which is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, which can be expanded further with a microSD slot. The phone comes pre-installed with Android 11 OS and the OneUI 3.1 custom skin. The phone is powered by a 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast-charging support.

In terms of cameras, the Samsung Galaxy A52 has a quad-camera configuration on the back that includes a 64MP primary lens with AF OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5MP macro lens, and a 5MP depth lens.

It has a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies and video chats, Dolby Atmos, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance. 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a USB Type-C port are among the connectivity options.

In terms of pricing, the Samsung Galaxy A52 starts at Rs 26,499 for the base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The model with 8GB of device memory and 256GB of internal storage would cost you Rs 27,999.
