Tecno has unveiled its Tecno POVA smartphone in India back in December 2020. It was priced in India in the sub 12k category. It offers a good set of specifications like a 13MP Triple rear camera and 6.8-inches massive display and more. The company is now gearing up to launch its successor of Tecno POVA in India.
The company has officially unveiled that they will launch the successor of Tecno POVA namely Tecno POVA 2 in India on August 2nd. The landing page of the device has already gone live on Amazon, which confirms the Amazon availability of the device. The support page does confirm some of the specifications of the device like MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, 7000mAh monster battery, 48MP AI quad-camera, and much more.
Tecno POVA 2; Specifications And Features
The Tecno POVA 2 has already been launched in the Philippines and the same device is launching in India with no change. So, the Tecno POVA will offer a whopping 6.9-inches IPS LCD Display with FHD resolution and punch hole cutout. It will be powered by MediaTek Helio G85 chipset with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The storage of the device is further expandable using a dedicated MicroSD card slot. It will boot up on the Android 11 based HiOS 7.6 user interface.

For optics, it has a quad rear camera at back with the following combination: 48MP(wide)+2MP(Macro)+2MP(Depth)+AI camera at last. It offers an 8MP selfie shooter housed in a punch-hole cutout. Other features include a USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, 7000mAh monster battery with 18W fast wired charging support, and much more.
