Tecno Spark 8T India Launch Date Set for December 15; Design and Key Specs Revealed

Tecno Spark 8T is now officially confirmed to launch in India on December 15. Its arrival was confirmed last week, and now, the brand has announced a launch date. The phone will debut as the third member in the Spark 8 series after Spark 8 and Spark 8P.  A landing page for the Tecno Spark 8T is now live on Amazon India that reveals its design and key specifications ahead of the launch. The company will start taking pre-orders from December 15 at noon.

The upcoming Tecno Spark 8T has a flat display with a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera. It has slightly thick bezels at the bottom than at the top. We see a camera cutout on the rear side, identical to Spark 8. The camera island consists of two sensors, an LED flash unit, and a fingerprint scanner. The device will be available in four colour options – Atlantic Blue, Turquoise Cyan, Cocoa Gold, and Iris purple.

In addition to the Tecno Spark 8T’s design and colour options, the Amazon landing page for the phone also reveals its specifications. So, pricing remains the only important thing for the launch event. In terms of specifications, the Spark 8T has a 6.6-inch FullHD+ 1080p display with 401PPI pixel density, 500nits peak brightness, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 91.30% screen to body ratio.

An octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 processor powers the handset. It packs a 5,000 mAh battery, which offers 7 hours of gaming, or 11 hours of video playback, or 122 hours of music playback. Spark 8T features a 50MP primary sensor with an F1.6 aperture on the back. It has an 8MP selfie snapper with dual flash and supports DTS sound.
