Tecno Pova 5G Launched as the Company’s First Phone 5G Phone; See Price and Specifications

Tecno Pova 5G features a big display, a giant 6,000mAh battery, and Dimensity 900 SoC.

Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Tecno, has launched another affordable smartphone under its Pova-series, the Tecno Pova 5G. What’s more interesting is that this is the company’s first 5G smartphone. Highlights of Tecno Pova 5G include a big display with 120Hz refresh rate support, a massive 6,000mAh battery, and Dimensity 900 chipset. Let’s take a deep into what the Tecno Pova 5G offers in terms of price and specifications.

Tecno Pova 5G specifications

The 5G-ready smartphone from Tecno has a large 6.95-inch IPS LCD panel with 1080 x 2460 pixels FullHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate support. MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC is present at the helm, paired with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage.

In terms of optics, the Tecno Pova 5G features a triple camera setup on the back that includes a 50MP primary sensor, a 2MP secondary lens, and an AI lens. The phone appears to have a textured back with a colourful vertical strip below the camera module. It has a 12MP selfie shooter inside a punch-hole cutout on the front.

Tecno Pova 5G packs a 6,000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. According to the company’s claims, the giant battery offers 11 hours of gaming, 55 hours of talk time, and 775 hours of standby time.

Tecno Pova 5G price, availability

Tecno Pova 5G has been reportedly launched in Nigeria at a price tag of NGN 129,000, which roughly translates to Rs 23,500, as per a report from PhoneCorridor.
