Sony has launched their all-new flagship camera, the Sony A7 IV. It features a 33-MP full-frame image sensor. The A7 series is one of Sony’s most expensive and popular series of cameras and has always had very high expectations. It is the successor to the Sony A7 III.
The Sony A7 IV starts at a whopping $2,500 (roughly Rs 1,86,900) and will be available later this year. This price is for the body only, but one version has an included kit lens. Sony’s FE 28-70mm F3.5-5.6 OSS zoom lens will be available with this camera for roughly an extra Rs 18,000.
The camera will have interchangeable lenses as the A7 cameras have always had. As for the internals, the camera comes with a full-frame back-illuminated CMOS image sensor, wide ISO sensitivity range expandable to ISO 50-204,800, wide 15-stop dynamic range, latest BIONZ XR image processing engine.

These specifications might sound complicated, but in simple words, the camera aims to deliver up to 2.5x slow motion with 4K 60fps movies. Connectivity options include:
- In-body wireless LAN (2.4GHz and 5GHz bands).
- A USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port.
It also offers real-time live streaming via a USB connection, including high-resolution 4K video.
