Samsung’s next ‘Galaxy Unpacked’ event for 2021 is scheduled for August 11, 2021, where the company is expected to launch devices like the Galaxy Z Fold 3, and the Galaxy Z Flip 3. While most tech publications already knew that Samsung would be focusing on its foldable line-up in this ‘Unpacked’ event, there has been no such confirmation from Samsung’s end – save for the graphics on the official Galaxy Unpacked landing page that showcases silhouettes of two foldable devices. Anyway, today, we have come across HTML snippets on Samsung’s website that – for the first time – confirms the names of the products that the company will launch at the event.

As evident from the image, you should not be expecting any surprise launches at the event, and you are only likely to see Samsung introduce the next generation of Galaxy Folds – Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy X Flip 3 – and the all-new Galaxy Watch 4.
Let us now take a look at the expected specifications and features of these devices.
Galaxy Z Fold 3 Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy Fold 3 is likely to get a 6.28-inch cover display with a high refresh rate of 120Hz and a resolution of 2268 x 832 pixels. In terms of cameras, the foldable smartphone could include a triple camera system on the back with a 12MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 12MP telephoto sensor. When it comes to selfies, there could be a 4MP camera on the inside and a 10MP camera on the cover screen when it is folded.
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is will almost certainly come powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It will have a 4,400mAh battery with support for both wired and wireless quick charging
Galaxy Z Flip 3 Specifications:

As for the Galaxy Z Flip 3, it is likely to feature a 6.7-inch primary screen with a resolution of 2640 x 1080 pixels and a variable refresh rate of 120Hz and a 1.9-inch secondary screen. The secondary display will have a resolution of 512 x 260 pixels. On the second screen, users will be able to see notifications, control music and make or receive phone calls.
This foldable phone is likely to get a dual-camera configuration on the back. A 12MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture will be used, as well as a 12MP ultra-wide sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. It could also have a 10MP front-facing camera sensor for selfies.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset will be combined with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage in the smartphone. It will include a 3,300mAh battery with wired and wireless quick charging capabilities.
