Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE and Galaxy Tab A7 Lite Officially Launched

Starting in June, the Galaxy Tab S7 FE and Galaxy Tab A7 Lite will be available in select regions.

Samsung has added two new tablets to its tablet lineup in Europe: the Galaxy Tab S7 FE 5G and the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite. The tablets will be available throughout the continent beginning next month. Samsung has not specified when the devices will be available in India.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE 5G features a 12.4-inch WQGA TFT LCD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC, 10,090mAh battery, OneUI 3.1 custom skin based on Android 11, and 128GB native storage.

The Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, on the other hand, has an 8.7-inch display, two cameras, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos audio, and a 5,100mAh battery with 15W fast-charging capabilities.

Galaxy Tab S7 FE is all about giving customers the features they love at an affordable price. Reflecting customers’ most wanted feature of all, Galaxy Tab S7 FE comes built with a large 12.4-inch1 display, perfect for taking entertainment, productivity, and creativity to the next level.

The Galaxy Tab S7 FE stands in between the Tab S7+ and the Tab S7. The premium Samsung Tab boasts a 12.4-inch TFT LCD with a 2560 x 1600 resolution and a refresh rate of 60Hz. The tab is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC under the hood. It has up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Storage may be increased up to 1TB with a microSD card.

The tablet has a 10,090 mAh battery, which is comparable to the S7+, and it enables rapid charging up to 45W. However, you will need to supply your own charger as the packaging only includes a 15W adapter. In any case, the battery can support 12 hours of online browsing through Wi-Fi or 4G. 

On the rear of the tablet is an 8 MP camera with autofocus and 4K/30 fps video capture. The Galaxy Tab S7 FE sports a 5MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The Galaxy Tab S7 FE also supports the S Pen and comes pre-installed with Android 11.

On top of Android, the smartphone has a layer of One UI 3.0. It has dimensions of 185.0 x 284.8 x 6.3 mm and a weight of 608 grammes. 5G SA/NSA, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/GLONASS, and a USB Type-C connector are among the connectivity possibilities.

The Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is the carry-along companion for on-the-go content and gaming at an affordable price. With an 8.7–inch screen housed in a sleek, durable metal cover, the compact Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is ultra-portable.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is a scaled-down version of last year’s Galaxy Tab A7 10.4. The low-cost tablet has an 8.7-inch TFT display. It sports a 1340×800 resolution and substantial bezels surrounding the display and comes pre-installed with OneUI 3.0, based on Android 11.

This variant is powered by an MT8768T Helio P22T chipset with eight Cortex-A53 cores and a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The standard configuration has 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage, but you can upgrade to 4/64 GB. In all variants, the slate accepts microSD cards with capacities of up to 1 TB.

The tablet includes an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front-facing camera. The LTE model is 8mm thick and weighs 371 grammes. It also includes a stereo speaker configuration with two AKG-tuned stereo speakers that enable Dolby Atmos.

The Galaxy Tab A7 Lite comes with a 5,100mAh battery that supports 15W charging. One SIM card slot with 4G, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, a USB Type-C connector, and a 3.5mm audio jack are among the connectivity choices.

The Galaxy Tab S7 FE is priced at EUR 649. (around Rs 57,800). So far, there has been no news on when the tablet would be available in India. It is available in Mystic Black, Mystic Silver, Mystic Green, and Mystic Pink.

The Galaxy Tab A7 Lite with LTE costs GBP 179 (about Rs 18,000), while the Wi-Fi-only edition costs GBP 149. (roughly Rs 15,000).

Both tablets will be available in the United Kingdom from June 18. Pre-orders for the Galaxy Tab S7 FE will begin on June 2.
