South Korean giant Samsung is reportedly in the works to launch a new affordable Galaxy Tab A-series soon. We already know how the device will like and some specs too, thanks to leaks and renders. Now, some of the key specifications of Galaxy Tab S8 2021 have been revealed via the Geekbench listing, first spotted by 91Mobiles.

The Galaxy Tab A8 2021 has been spotted on the Geekbench site with the model numbers SM-X200 and SM-X205. The former is a Wi-Fi variant, and the latter is an LTE variant. As per the listing, the tablet is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T618 processor that runs at a base frequency of 2.0GHz. The chipset is paired with 3GB RAM.

When tested on Geekbench v4, the device managed to pull off 1,704 points in the single-core test and 5,256 points in the multi-core test. The Galaxy Tab A8 2021 boots Android 11 out of the box. It is likely to be offered in 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB storage options.

Past leaks suggest that the device will bring a 10.5-inch TFT display with 1920×1200 pixels (WUXGA) resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. It is rumoured to pack a 7040mAh battery with fast charging support. The device could feature an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP shooter for selfies and video calling. Yesterday, the Galaxy Tab A8 2021 bagged Bluetooth SIG approval. So, probably, we are not too far from hearing a launch announcement.
