South Korean Tech Giant Samsung could be launching their new Galaxy S21 FE 5G smartphone very soon. We have not heard anything from the brand officially but a support page has gone live on their German Website hinting at some details about this upcoming device.

Samsung started the “FE” lineup last year, with the first phone being the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE. This series is a slightly lite version of their flagship series that comes at a considerably lower price but still gives essentially the whole flagship experience by following similar specifications and design. The 5G variant of the Galaxy S20 FE could be powered by the Snapdragon 865 SoC, while the 4G variant could be powered by Samsung’s very own Exynos 990 chip.

The support page reveals that the phone’s model name is SM-G990B/DS, however, it revealed no other information.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE leaked specifications

We do have some information about the phone from previous leaks though. The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G should have the same camera array as the S21 which had a triple rear camera arrangement along with a hole punch camera on the front. The phone was leaked to be powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC from Qualcomm and pack a 4500 mAh battery, bigger than the 4000 mAh battery we saw on the Galaxy S21. The device is expected to have support for 45W and 25W fast charging.

The phone is rumored to have a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an In-Display fingerprint scanner. Evan Blass says the phone may come in Blue, Grey, Green, Violet, and White color options.

Samsung has not officially revealed anything about this device but the presence of a support page on the brand’s website indicates that the launch could be very close and just like last year’s Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, this year’s refresh could be a very exciting launch!
