Samsung is going to announce the Samsung Galaxy M22 phone in several countries. This is the latest M-series Samsung phone to go official. In the recent development, the company has listed the Galaxy M22 phone on its official website of Samsung Germany. It could be the rebranded version of the Samsung Galaxy A22 handset that launched in India in June. Let’s take a look at the Samsung Galaxy M22 specifications, features, and other details.

The Samsung Galaxy M22 has a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U notch screen. It supports a Full HD+ screen resolution of 1600×720 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 90Hz refresh rate. Dimension-wise the device measures 159.9x7x8.4 mm and weighs 186g.

The Galaxy M22 is powered by a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 processor that powers the Galaxy A22. The Galaxy M22 has 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM that comes with 128GB eMMC 5.1 storage. Furthermore, there is support for microSD card for storage expansion.

The rear camera setup of the Samsung Galaxy M22 includes a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a pair of 2MP for depth and macro sensors. It is fitted with a selfie camera of 13MP with f/2.0 aperture.

The smartphone offers features such as Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, and a USB Type-C port. The phone features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast-charging. It runs on OneUI based Android 11 out of the box. Other than that, the device also features Dolby Atmos, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Galaxy M22 comes in three colors such as blue, black, and white. At present, there is no word on the pricing of the device.
