As many as five new Galaxy A-series phones are reportedly in the works. These are Galaxy A13 4G, Galaxy A23, Galaxy A33, Galaxy A53, and Galaxy A73. We already know pretty much something about all the upcoming Galaxy A-series phones, and now, new details about the Galaxy A53 5G have surfaced on the internet.
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy A53 5G has now appeared on the Google Play Console with front renders and several key specifications as well. According to it, the device is powered by an “S5e8825” code-named chipset, which is Samsung’s in-house Exynos 1200 SoC. It’s an octa-core chip with 2 x 2.4GHz Cortex-A78 cores and 6 x 2.0GHz Cortex-A55 cores.
Galaxy A53 5G is listed to have 6GB RAM. It will also come in an 8GB RAM variant, as spotted in the Geekbench listing. The device will boot Android 12 out of the box, flavoured with One UI skin at the top. The front render in the listing shows a punch-hole display with slim bezels all around. On the right side, it has a power button and volume rockers.
Apart from the Google Play Console listing, we have more details about the Galaxy A53 5G, thanks to the tipster Sam (@Shadow_Leak). The device is said to have a 6.52-inch AMOLED screen with FullHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It could feature a quad-camera setup on the back, consisting of a 64MP camera, a 12MP camera, and two 5MP cameras. The device is tipped to house a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging support.
