Tech giant Samsung has raised the price of its Samsung Galaxy A52 4G mid-range smartphone by Rs 1,000, following in the footsteps of Chinese manufacturers Xiaomi and Realme. The company launched Samsung Galaxy A52 on 17th March earlier this year.
What exactly is the cause of the price increase is a mystery. However, rumors imply that just like other manufacturers, the semiconductor shortage could be the reason. The hike came in just a couple of days after the company launched Samsung Galaxy A52s in India, which is an upgraded version of the Samsung Galaxy A52.
Samsung Galaxy A52 Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy A52 flaunts a 6.5-inch AMOLED with a 90Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC paired with up to 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage. The handset packs a 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.
As for the optics, the Samsung Galaxy A52 packs a quad-camera setup at the rear, including a 64MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide sensor, a 5MP macro lens, and a 5MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, the device offers a 32MP module on the front. The Samsung Galaxy A52 runs Android-11 based One UI 3.1 skin.
As for the connectivity options, the device supports a 5G, USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth v5.2, dual-band Wi-Fi, and GPS.
