The Samsung Galaxy A41 and Galaxy M01 are officially getting the One UI 3.1 update, which is based on Android 11. According to news, both smartphones will receive the Android security patch for April 2021 along with the update. While the Galaxy A41 may get the One UI 3.1 update, the Galaxy M01 may get the One UI 3.1 Core update. In addition, the former’s update is reportedly rolling out in Russia, while the latter’s update is reportedly rolling out in India. There has been no word on when the update will be released in other parts of the world.

SamMobile announced the update for the Samsung Galaxy A41 and Galaxy M01 smartphones. Both smartphones were launched in 2020 and came pre-installed with Android 10’s One UI. Samsung is reportedly releasing One UI 3.1 Core for Galaxy M01 smartphones. The Core version of the One UI OS is a lighter version of the OS optimized for the company’s entry-level smartphones. The update is said to include the April 2021 security patch for both smartphones.

M015GXXU3BUD9 is the firmware version for the Galaxy M01, and it is 1.4GB in size. According to the source, the A415FXXU1CUD4 firmware version for the Galaxy A41 is currently being rolled out in Russia. However, no details about the scale of the update are available. When the smartphones are charged and linked to a powerful Wi-Fi network, it is recommended to download and install the update. If you haven’t got the update yet, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install to manually search and download it.

The update is said to add a slew of new features to the Galaxy A41, including One UI 3.1. Chat bubbles, a Google Discover stream on the home screen, video call effects, and the removal of location data from images will all be available. The One UI 3.1 core update for the Galaxy M01 is said to bring improved dynamic memory allocation, which improves performance and allows apps to load faster. A new Digital Wellbeing functionality, as well as new efficiency and media controls, may be included in the update.
