Samsung Galaxy A22 5G, the rumored entry-level 5G handset has appeared in several listings in recent weeks. Although previous image renders indicated the phone will have a triple rear camera, a new listing on TUV Rheinland now indicates that the Galaxy A22 will have 15W charging support.
The model number SM-A226B/DS is revealed in the listing. Furthermore, according to the screenshot shared by tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, the phone supports up to 9V, 1.67A input, which is essentially the rating characteristic of the 15W charging speed. Aside from that, the listing provides no additional detail. However, previous reports have revealed a few key information about the upcoming Galaxy A22 phone.

Last month, the Samsung Galaxy A22 5G was allegedly mentioned on Geekbench. According to the listing, the phone will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset with 6GB of RAM. According to reports, the phone may also come with additional RAM options. The phone’s display is supposed to be a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen with a V-shaped teardrop notch.
The rumored Galaxy A22 is said to run Android 11 out of the box, with Samsung‘s One UI skin layered on top. In terms of other specifications, the phone is expected to have a 48-megapixel main camera on the rear, supported by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide secondary sensor and two 2-megapixel sensors. 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging and data sync may be among the connectivity features.
Furthermore, purported renders of the Galaxy A22 5G posted last month by @Onleaks indicated that the phone will have a tall form factor with thick chin bezels. According to the photos, the phone will have a dual-tone color scheme with a square-shaped rear camera module housing a triple camera setup. A 3.5mm audio jack was visible near the charging port at the bottom.
According to news, the phone will be available in four colors: Grey, Light Green, Purple, and White.

Though information about the Galaxy A22 5G has been pouring in over the last few weeks, Samsung has yet to break the silence on the phone’s release date. However, it is widely being speculated that the brand new handset may debut in the second half this year. According to news, the phone could cost KRW 200,000. (approximately Rs 13,100).
On a separate note, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, the successor to the Galaxy S20 FE, will be released shortly. The device is scheduled to go into production in July of this year and to be unveiled on August 19th at the Unpacked case.
