Reliance Jio Brings New Disney+ Hotstar Prepaid Plans with No Restrictions to Content; Plans Available From September 1

Reliance Jio New Disney+ Hotstar Prepaid plans is applicable from September 1.

India’s largest telecom operator, Reliance Jio has announced new Disney+ Hotstar plans that will allow users to access much more content on the streaming platform. The current Disney+ Hotstar plans for Jio users includes the VIP subscription where the content is restricted to – Live sports, Hotstar specials, Movies, TV shows, and dubbed content in 3 Indian languages.

However, the new Disney+ Hotstar plans include international content in English. The telecom will bring a total of 5 new Disney+ Hotstart plans priced at Rs 499, Rs 599, Rs 666, Rs 888, and Rs 2,599. The new plans will be applicable from September 1.

Reliance Jio New Disney+ Hotstar Plans

Rs 499 Disney+ Hostar plan is the most affordable one, which comes with a validity of 28 days. The plan will offer 3GB of internet data per day, unlimited voice calls, and free SMS benefits. The Rs 666 plan is valid for a total of 56 days. It will offer 2GB daily data, unlimited voice calls, and free SMS benefits too. 

Coming to the Rs 888 plans, it will offer 2GB daily data, unlimited voice calls, and SMS benefits for a total of 84 days. The Rs 549 plan is a data add-on plan which offers 1.5GB of daily data valid for 56 days. This plan does not offer voice calling or SMS benefits. Now comes the Rs 2,599 plan which comes with a validity of 1 year i.e. 365 days. The plan benefits include 2GB daily data, unlimited voice calling, and free SMS benefits.

Reliance Jio is offering 1 year of Disney+ Hotstar subscription with all the new plans mentioned above. The new plans for Jio users will be available from September 1, 2021. Jio users who are already on a Disney+ Hotstar plan will continue to enjoy the existing benefits. The main reason for the arrival of new Reliance Jio Disney+ Hostar plans is that the streaming platform has revised its plans and benefits for Indian users.
