The Xiaomi flagship Mi 11 Ultra was announced earlier in April this year along with Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro but due to unavoidable shipment issues and lockdown scenarios, it was postponed by the company.
The launch date of Mi 11 Ultra has not yet been revealed, but the flash sale registrations have already begun. Well, the Mi 11 Ultra would be going on sale in limited quantity so the company came up with a creative idea. You can get enrolled in the sale in two ways: purchasing an Ultra gift card and the other by participating in Challenge.
Mi Ultra Gift card
The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra gift card is priced at Rs 1,999. Buying it assures you the Mi 11 Ultra F-code which gives access to the sale. Along with the F-code, you also get few other perks like two free screen replacements worth Rs 4099, an Ultra merchandise super fan box, Times Prime annual subscription worth Rs 999.
The phone will be available in two color options: Ceramic White and Ceramic Black, which need to be selected while purchasing the gift card and can not be changed after the purchase is made. If you are interested then you can purchase a gift card from Mi.com/in. The Mi 11 Ultra gift cards are in limited quantity so basically they are on a first come first serve basis.
After the purchase, you will receive the F-code via email the same day and the purchase needs to be done within 24 hours of receiving it. You can redeem the Mi Ultra Gift card on Mi 11 Ultra or any other product on the Mi website or app.
Mi Ultra Challenge
While the other way to access the sale is by completing a set of 3 challenges. As of now, Xiaomi has announced only the first challenge via social media handles in which users should answer “What makes you a Superfan?” using #Mi11Ultra and #UltraChallenge hashtags. The company will randomly pick the lucky members and will give them direct access to the sale. Rest two Challenges are not announced yet.
Specifications of Mi 11 Ultra
The Mi 11 Ultra comes with a 6.81-inch QHD+ E4 AMOLED panel with a punch-hole camera on the top left and has a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate(480Hz touch sampling rate). The display will have a resolution of 3200×1440 pixels. The display has a 20:9 aspect ratio and has a peak brightness of 1700nits. The screen is made up of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
The rear optical house Mi 11 Ultra has a triple camera setup with an OIS, it consists of a 50MP ISOCELL GN2 primary sensor, a 48MP Sony IMX586 ultra-wide-angle lens, an f/2.2 aperture, and a tertiary sensor of 48MP Sony IMX586 for telephoto which has 5x optical zoom and 120x digital zoom. While at the front, it will have a 20MP selfie camera and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The phone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G SoC with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The phone will be juiced by a 5000mAh battery and will have up to 67W fast charging support, 67W wireless charging, and 10W reverse charging support.
The Mi 11 Ultra has dimensions of 164.3 x 74.6 x 8.4 mm, weighs 234g, and is IP68 certified for water and dust resistance.
The phone will run on Android 11 out of the box and will have MIUI 12.5 skin on top for customization. The smartphone will have 5G/4G LTE, NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi and, GPS, Bluetooth 5.2, and a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer in terms of connectivity.

In India, Mi 11 Ultra is available in a single variant i.e, 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage, and is priced at Rs 69,999. The phone will be available in two color options: Ceramic White and Ceramic Black.
