Ahead of any official announcements, two of the Redmi Note 12 series phones have been spotted on TENAA certification sites, revealing some key details about the phone such as display size, batter capacity, and more.
The devices have been spotted on the TENAA certification site with model numbers 22041216C and 22041216UC. According to a Chinese tipster WHYLAB, the model number 22041216C belongs to the Redmi Note 12 Pro, while the model number 22041216UC represents Note 12 Pro+.
According to the TENAA listing, both smartphones have a 6.6-inch display. The Redmi Note 12 Pro is listed to have a 4,980mAh rated capacity battery and the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ with a 4,300mAh rated capacity battery. Both the device will boot Android 12 out of the box with a layer of MIUI 13 skin at the top.
Both the Redmi Note 12 series phones carry the same dimension – 163.64 x 74.29 x 8.8mm. According to a reliable Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, the new Redmi Note series could be powered by high-performance chipsets from MediaTek. Rumours are that Dimensity 8000 series or Dimensity 1300 chipset could power the Redmi Note 12 series phones.
