Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G Set to Launch Globally on March 29

Xiaomi has now confirmed the arrival of the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G in the global market. The brand has officially announced that the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G will launch globally on March 29. It is touted to be the most powerful Redmi Note series phone. The launch event will go live at 8 PM (GMT).

The event page on the Xiaomi website does not reveal any details about the device. However, speculations are rife that the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G coming to the global market is actually the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge, which went official in India at the beginning of this year. So, the global Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G could come with a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a FullHD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and 1200nits of peak brightness.

The smartphone will boot MIUI 12.5 custom skin, based on Android 11. It is likely to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset, paired with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage, which is further expandable using the microSD card slot. The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G global variant could feature a triple camera setup on the back comprising of a 108MP Samsung HM2 primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP depth shooter. On the front, there might be a 16MP snapper for selfies and video calls.

Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G is likely to come with a 4,500mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging. It could feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner integrated with the power button. Other notable specs that the device might come with are a 3.5mm headphone jack, Hi-res audio, Dolby Atmos, IR blaster, an X-axis linear vibration, and VC cooling. The device is likely to have connectivity options such as 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, GPS, Bluetooth v5.2, and a USB Type-C port.
