Xiaomi-backed Redmi has extended its portfolio in recent years. In addition to mobile phones, the portfolio includes smart TVs, power banks, earbuds, laptops, smart bands, smartwatches, and more. The brand regularly launches new products in each category. Today, Redmi has announced the arrival of a giant 100-inch Redmi MAX TV. The giant smart TV will launch on March 17 in China.
Redmi MAX is going to be the company’s first 100-inch smart TV. The launch poster does not tease the device’s design or any of its specifications. However, thanks to certification sites for revealing several details. According to the Bluetooth SIG listing, the Redmi MAX supports Bluetooth v5.0 connectivity. The device is listed on the certification site with the model number L100R8-MAX.
The upcoming 100-inch giant TV from Redmi was recently spotted on China’s 3C certification site. It revealed that the device supports 50Hz and 60Hz refresh rate options. This week, the Redmi MAX 100-inch TV will launch in China, and hopefully, Xiaomi will bring this to more markets including India in the coming months.
The Redmi MAX 100-inch Smart TV will launch as a successor to the Redmi Smart TV 98-inch MAX, which was launched in the year 2020. The device was also launched in the Indian market, and therefore, the Redmi MAX 100-inch TV is also likely to make its way to the country.
