Redmi K50 flagship series is now officially confirmed to launch on March 16 in China. The live stream of the event will begin at 7 PM (local time). Already the company has announced the first member of the Redmi K50 series – Redmi K50 Gaming – and it might unveil three more devices later this month – Redmi K50, K50 Pro, and K50 Pro+.
The Redmi K50 series launch poster (via Weibo) teases the rear camera module of the Redmi K50 Pro+. The device features a triple camera setup arranged in a triangular shape. It also confirms a 108MP primary sensor. The device has been teased in a black colour option, with the power button and volume rockers are on the right side.

According to past reports, the standard Redmi K50 could be powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset, while the Redmi K50 Pro and K50 Pro+ might get Dimensity 8100 and Dimensity 9000 chipsets, respectively. The octa-core Dimensity 9000 chipset from MediaTek is found to be more powerful than Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. So, it will be interesting to see, how the chipset performs on the Redmi K50 Pro+.
We are still more than a week away from the Redmi K50 series launch. Hence, the company is likely to release more teasers, highlight key details about the devices to build some hype around.
