Redmi has silently increased the price of its two 9-series smartphones in India. The Redmi 9 Power, Redmi 9A, which were launched earlier this year in India at affordable prices. The Redmi 9 Power price in India have been increased for the 6GB + 128GB variants Rs 500. To recall, the Redmi 9 Power was launched in India with a price tag of Rs 12,999. Now, with a price hike of Rs 500, the Redmi 9 Power costs Rs 13,499 for the 6GB + 128GB storag variant.
The budget smartphone under Rs 15,000 features a 6.53″ FHD+ display, interrupted by a waterdrop notch housing the 8MP selfie camera of the smartphone. It has a 48MP Quad camera array. Under the hood, the phone draws power from a Snapdragon 662 SoC. With a compatible charger supplied out of the box, the 6,000mAh battery supports fast charging at 18W.
Redmi 9A price in India and specs
The Redmi 9A price in India have been increased for the 2GB + 32GB and 3GB + 32GB variants. To recall. the Redmi 9A was launched in India with a price tag of Rs. 6799 for the 2GB RAM with 32GB storage version and the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version costs Rs. 7499. Now, after the price hiked Rs 6999 cost for the 2GB + 32GB storage version where as 3GB + 32GB storage version cost Rs 7799.
The entry level smartphone uder Rs 1000 packs a 6.53″ HD+ Dot Drop screen, is powered by MediaTek Helio G25, runs Android 10 with MIUI 12 out of the box, features a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP camera on the front. With a compatible charger supplied out of the box, the 5,000mAh battery supports fast charging at 10W.
