After a number of rumors and leaks in the previous months, Nubia has finally launched the Red Magic 6R with a much affordable price tag.
With the Red Magic 6R, the Chinese manufacturer has expanded its gaming-focused Red Magic 6 series. The gaming device features a 144Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate.

The Nubia Red Magic 6R features a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a 144Hz screen refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and 770nits max brightness. The phone comes equipped with the latest SoCs(Snapdragon 888) along with Adreno 660. The phone comes with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 flash storage.
Coming to cameras, the Nubia Red Magic 6R features a quad-rear camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there is a 16MP selfie camera.
The Red Magic 6R packs a 4,200mAh battery with 30W fast charging support which is a big step down from Red Magic 6’s 5,050mAh battery, and 66W fast charging support. The phone also comes with a vapor chamber liquid cooling system to keep thermals in check and has built-in shoulder trigger buttons with a 400Hz touch response rate.
Nubia Red Magic 6R Pricing & Availability
The Red Magic 6R will go on sale from 24 June on Nubia’s official website. The pricing starts at $499(around Rs 37,000) for the 8GB/128GB model and goes up to $599(around Rs 44,400) for the 12GB/256GB model.
