The Realme Pad is launching on 9th September, and a Flipkart page about it has just gone live. The page has officially released some specs of the upcoming Realme Pad, mainly in the display and camera section. Here’s everything you need to know!
Realme Pad specifications
The Flipkart page reveals that the main feature of the Realme Pad is to give users a thin profile tablet. The Realme Pad is 6.9mm thick, which compared to the Apple iPad is 0.6mm slimmer. It is also going to feature a WUXGA+ Display, with an 82.5% screen-to-body ratio, meaning it will feature a big display and narrow bezels. The tablet will have a 10.4-inch display with a 2000×1200 resolution. We have no details on another possible screen size option and 10.4-inch seems to be the only choice consumers have.
The renders on Flipkart suggest ultra-thin bezels with a tiny front camera on the top bezel (when held horizontally). On the rear, we see a single camera setup on the top left corner, and the sensor here looks to be very big. The renders confirm two colour variants, a gold, and a grey.
The Realme Pad launch event will begin at 12.30 pm on September 9. It will be held virtually for all to see. A teaser from Realme on Twitter shows the speaker grill and USB port sitting on the bottom edge. It seems to have rounded corners with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Although we don’t have any more official details, we do have some leaked specifications of the tablet. Both 8MP cameras(front and rear) will get a 1.36-inch sensor with an f/2.8 aperture, 2.8mm focal length, image stabilization, and a 65.3 degrees field of view. 3,264×2,448 pixels resolution is expected to be standard across both cameras. Past leaks suggest that the Realme Pad may have an aluminium unibody construction, a USB Type-C port, and a housing for a stylus.
