Realme Pad Mini With 8.7-inch Display, Unisoc Processor, and 6,400mAh Battery Launched in India, Price Starts at Rs 10,999

Last year, Realme unveiled Realme Pad as the company’s first tablet. The company is now back with its second tablet – Realme Pad Mini. And, this one is even more affordable than the first one. It’s a toned-down version of the original tablet. The Realme Pad Mini with a familiar design debuted in the Philippines earlier this month and now, it has landed in India.

The tablet has a boxy design with thick bezels on all sides. It features a single 8MP camera on the rear side and a 5MP selfie snapper. Key highlights of the Realme Pad Mini also include a big 8.7-inch display, an octa-core Unisoc processor, and a 6,400mAh battery. Realme Pad Mini specifications

The Realme Pad Mini flaunts an 8.7-inch LCD display with a WUXGA+ resolution of 1340 x 800 pixels. Bezels on the top and bottom are quite thick than on the other two sides. It has been designed intentionally in this way for easy handling in the landscape mode. Slim bezels on tablets often lead to unwanted touches.

Under the hood, the tablet is powered by a Unisoc T616 SoC. It’s an entry-level octa-core processor with two Cortex-A75 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.8GHz. The chipset also consists of Mali G57MP1 GPU. Realme Pad Mini has been offered in two storage configurations: 3RAM + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB. With the help of a microSD card, you can add up to 1TB of additional storage.

The Realme Pad Mini features a single 8MP primary camera on the back and a 5MP selfie camera. It comes with Android 11 OS with Realme UI for tab custom skin at the top. The tablet houses a 6,400mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. It also supports reverse charging. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port.

The tablet does not have a fingerprint scanner though. It comes with dual speakers. Last but not the least, the device measures 211.8 x 124.5 x 7.6mm and weighs about 372g.

Realme Pad Mini price

Realme Pad Mini starts at Rs 10,999 for the 3GB RAM + 32GB WiFi-only variant. It also comes in a 3GB + 32GB LTE variant and 4GB + 64GB Wi-Fi variant for Rs 12,999. The LTE variant of the tablet is also offered in a 4GB + 64GB LTE variant for Rs 14,999.

The Realme Pad Mini comes in grey and blue colour options. It will go on sale in India starting May 2. Realme is offering a Rs 2,000 discount that will be applicable during the Realme anniversary sale.
