Realme is gearing up for the launch of the Realme GT series in India. The Realme GT was originally launched in China back in March, while the GT Master Edition debuted last month. According to a recent report, the company was supposed to launch the Realme GT and Realme GT Master Edition of the new GT series. A product page of the GT series has appeared on Flipkart today. It indicates that the GT and GT Master Edition phones will be exclusively available for purchase through Flipkart. Recently, the company confirmed that it will be announcing the Realme GT 5G series on August 18th in India.

The Realme GT’s Flipkart landing page has no information on its specifications. The listing reads, “Flagship Killer 2021 Coming Soon” and a racing car, a speedometer, and the ‘GT’ moniker. However, based on the teaser image on the microsite, we can expect the China variants to make their way to India.
Realme GT 5G Specifications
In the latest #AskMadhav episode, Realme India & Europe CEO, Madhav Sheth has already confirmed the handset will come in India with similar features as the global variant.
The Realme GT has a 6.43 a Full HD+ display that comes with a 120Hz refresh rate, in-display fingerprint reader, and 91.7% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G SoC paired with Adreno 660 GPU. The SoC is clubbed with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. To ensure the phone remains cool during intensive gaming, the phone has got a VC liquid cooling system as well.
On the rear side, the Realme GT sports a rectangular camera island that is home to a triple-camera setup comprising of a 64MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide camera, 2MP macro camera. On the front, there is a 16MP camera housed with a hole-punch cutout on the upper left corner of the screen.
The phone draws power from the 4,500mAh battery. It also supports 65W super dart flash charging which can fully charge the phone in 35 minutes. The device has a Linear vibration motor and a brand new 4D vibration. Last but not the least, the device runs Android 11 OS based on Realme UI 2.0 on top.
