Realme has finally confirmed the India launch of GT Neo 3. The Twitter post confirming the India launch does not reveal a launch date. Although, it confirms that the 150W fast charging variant is coming to India. Rumours are that the company could launch Realme GT 2 in India on May 5. And, we speculate that the brand might also launch the Realme GT Neo 3 at the same event.
Realme GT Neo 3 is the world’s first phone to come with a whopping 150W fast charging support. It’s also the first phone to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset. The teaser shared by Realme confirms the 150W variant for the Indian market. The device was launched in China recently in an 80W charging variant too, which might also come to India.

Realme GT Neo 3 specifications
Realme GT Neo 3 went official in China last month. So, nothing, except for the Indian pricing, is a mystery about the device. The smartphone has a 6.7-inch OLED screen with a FullHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a maximum of 1000Hz touch sampling rate. The panel has a high screen to body ratio of 94.2-per cent with 100% DCI-P3 colour coverage.
The Realme phone ships with Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 skin at the top. It is driven by a Dimensity 8100 SoC – a solid mid-range chipset built on TSMC’s 5nm process. The chipset is paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. Realme GT Neo 3 supports insanely fast 150W charging. This variant comes with 4,500mAh and the 5,000mAh battery option has support for 80W fast charging. As claimed by Realme, the 150W charger can fill up the battery by up to 50% in just 5 minutes.
In terms of camera capabilities, the Realme GT Neo 3 features a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor on the back with support for Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). The main sensor is further joined with an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro sensor. The device is equipped with a 16MP selfie camera.
